The Zoom 100: List of the dead anime has again announced a postponement of the streaming release, this time for episode 8. The episode will air on September 17th in Japan as previously announced, but will be aired a day later. This delay affects both Japanese and overseas streaming services.
The new delay follows a series of multi-episode delays for the anime, starting with episode 4 being delayed to July 31st, episode 5 to August 13th, as well as delays for episodes 7 to 9. Although these delays were all production-cited issues, it’s also worth noting that the release of episode 6 was delayed due to issues with the broadcast schedule in line with the upcoming 2023 World Athletics Championships. This isn’t the first streaming delay for the series either, as some of the previous episodes also hit streaming services the day after the telecast.
BUG FILMS animated the series and was the studio’s first major effort. The anime began airing this July, and at one point studio SHAFT was brought in to help before it dropped out of production. The staff includes:
