Yowamushi Pedal Season 5 is getting a premiere date of October 9th
Season 5 of Yowamushi pedal anime, titled LIMIT BREAK, was given a premiere date of October 9 via the franchise’s official Twitter account. This comes more than 4 years after the fourth season ended in June 2018. You can see the official announcement below:

Osamu Nabeshima returns to direct the latest sequel after previously directing all 4 TV anime seasons as well as the films Yowamushi Pedal Re: RIDE, Yowamushi Pedal Re: ROAD, Yowamushi Pedal: Spare bike and Yowamushi Pedal: Re:GENERATION.
Wataru Watanabe writes and draws Yowamushi pedal sportsmanga, which won Best Shonen Manga at the 39th Kodansha Manga Awards along with The seven deadly sins by Nakaba Suzuki. It began serialization in 2008 and has 78 compilation volumes as of June 2022. The first season of the television anime season premiered in 2013 and has a total of 38 episodes. It is produced by TMS Entertainment, who also produced the second season and co-produced the third and fourth with 8PAN. Crispy roll stream the anime and they describe the story:
Onoda Sakamichi is a rather timid, anime-loving first-year student at Sohoku High School. After entering high school, he tried to join the anime study club, but after meeting Imaizumi Shunsuke, a famous middle school cyclist, and Naruko Shoukichi, who swept the Kansai Cycling Championships, he joined the competitive cycling club.
