Lizzo brought out two special guests during her show at the Kia Forum in California on Friday night (November 18) as Missy Elliott and Cardi B joined her on stage.
The show was the final date of Lizzo’s ongoing North American tour in support of her fourth album “Special.” During the concert, Missy Elliott joined Lizzo for a live performance of the song “Tempo” from her 2019 album “Cuz I Love You”, and Cardi B joined her for the collaboration single “Rumors”.
The next day, Lizzo shared on Twitter a photo of her hugging Missy Elliott on stage with the following caption: “It’s a dream to be on stage with you but can’t meet you! My total idol! Love you 5EVA! Thank you!”
Lizzo also spoke instagram to praise Cardi B. “I’m a Friends B FAN! I’ve been following her since love and hiphop… ” Lizzo wrote. “Cardi B, thank you for always coming to me, for sticking up for us when you don’t have to. You are the people’s champion. I LOVE U.”

Lizzo announced earlier this week that she will be performing another string of North American dates next spring. The singer will perform in 17 places not visited by her current tour, including St. Louis, Memphis, Montreal, Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Phoenix and San Diego.
HBO’s new documentary about her life and fame, Love Lizzo, premieres this Thursday (November 24).
He shows footage of the singer during her formative years explaining that she never felt confident enough to think she could one day be singing on stage to thousands of people.
