Earlier this year, J-hope spoke to NME backstage at Lollapalooza 2022 and told us what it’s like to be the first South Korean artist to headline a major American festival. He also talked about how it feels when fans support his first solo album and what’s next for BTS.
“I’ve learned a lot as an individual artist,” he said. “I think I will continue to grow through this album. I want to show even better music through my solo projects. This experience has had a positive effect on me overall.”
This summer, the 28-year-old released his first solo album, Jack In The Box. With the singles “MORE” and “Arson”, NME’s Rhian Daly praised the work with a five-star review, saying it was “exciting and full of fresh new flavour”.
TXT, for their part, have just announced the details of their upcoming mini-album, “The Name Chapter: Temptation”. The group’s new album, their fifth mini-album in total, will arrive this month following “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” in May.
