Watch Death Cab For Cutie Play An Unreleased Song called ‘This Forever’

In preparation for the release of their 10th studio album, ‘Asphalt Meadows’, Death Cab For Cutie has started playing a new song called ‘Here To Forever’.

To date, the band has performed “Here To Forever” on each date of their current summer tour, with their first show in Newport, Kentucky on Thursday (July 7). They also played the album’s lead single, “Roman Candles”, which until this week had only been performed acoustically at lead solo Ben Gibbard’s solo concerts.

‘Asphalt Meadows’ is a sequel to ‘Thank You For Today’ 2018 and will be released on September 16th via Atlantic. Until then, the latest release of Death Cab For Cutie is ‘The Georgia EP’, a collection of five covers that came out in 2020 via Bandcamp and landed on streaming platforms last January. The re – release of 35 tracks of ‘The Photo Album’ from 2001 in 2021 was also released.
