Watch Dave Pull Drake Out to Perform at His Toronto Show

Dave surprised his fans at his show in Toronto, Canada last night (May 12) by bringing Drake up on stage.

The rapper and musician from South London performed at Drake’s hometown of History as part of his 202 North American tour. Dave is touring in support of “We’re All Alone In This Together,” released last July.

According to The Line Of Best Fit, Dave and Drake gave a live performance of their 2016 collaboration ‘Wanna Know’, as well as a joint version of Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ track ‘Knife Talk’.

Speaking to the audience, Drake suggested Dave was a “once in a generation talent.” The final artist appeared in the first season of Top Boy, the hit show that brought Drake back in 2019 after a six-year hiatus.

“Toronto, please. Like I said, the guy here has one-in-a-generation talent,” Drake told the crowd.

“Look … whether he’s rapping, pouring his heart, whether he’s spinning all the way, whether he’s playing the piano, whether he’s performing on our Top Boy show, I promise you that this guy here is one of a kind. Make some damn Noise for Dave. “

The Canadian artist also confirmed that his OVO Fest was back on stage with Dave last night.

Dave recently played at Coachella 2022 and is due to return to the UK this summer to headline Reading & Leeds and the new Birmingham section of Wireless Festival.

The rapper completed a tour of the UK and Ireland in March. In a five – star review of its show at O2 London, NME wrote: “Treating their fans like family does not diminish the energy or commitment at all during the two – hour performance. It looks like historic night. ” Dave and for the UK rap scene as a whole ”.

It was reported earlier this month that Drake has signed a major new contract with Universal Music Group. It is believed that he is currently working on content in the studio.
