Arcade Fire and Benedict Cumberbatch appear together in a hilarious new promo clip for this weekend’s Saturday Night Live show – you can always watch the band take on the actor below.

Arcade Fire will be featured on the long – running comedy series tomorrow (May 7) as musical guests, where they will be playing in support of their new album ‘WE’.

The band will be joined tomorrow by a guest from SNL Cumberbatch, who will play this weekend in support of their new film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

A new SNL promo featuring actor and Arcade Fire, as well as cast member Ego Nwodim, has now been released. In the clip, Cumberbatch tries to introduce the segment as scripted, but Nwodim and members of Arcade Fire, who try to introduce themselves individually, thwart his efforts.

The clip ends with Cumberbatch walking out in frustration, leaving Arcade Fire drummer Jeremy Gara to introduce himself. You can check out the SNL clip above.

Arcade Fire spoke to NME for Big Read this week, in which the band talks about the creation of their new album “WE”, the departure of their member Will Butler and their upcoming tour plans.

Arcade Fire was recently live during the reopening of the famous London venue KOKO – you can read the NME review of the gig here.

Earlier this month, Win Butler and Régine Chassagne collaborated with Canadian musician Pierre Kwenders for the track “LES (Liberté Égalité Sagacité)”.
