Urusei Yatsura reveals three more roles and four characters

The upcoming reboot of Urusei Yatsura revealed three more cast members joining the anime. Kenta Miyake, Takahiro Sakurai, and Marina Inoue voice Onsen-Mark, Tsubame Ozuno, and Ryoko Mendo, respectively. Visuals for all three characters were also revealed along with ghost cat Kotatsu Neko. The series released a second preview last week, and the first episode premieres on October 13.

Studio David Production animated the four-course series with directors Takahiro Kamei, Yasuhiro Kimura and Takahashi Hideya. Sumire Uesaka voices the main character Lum, and Hiroshi Kamiya plays Ataru Moroboshi. The rest of Urusei Yatsura the cast includes:

Anime adaptation of Urusei Yatsura is based on the manga by the author of Inuyasha, Rumiko Takahashi. The manga was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine for a total of 34 volumes. The series previously received an anime adaptation previously by Studio Pierrot and Studio Deen, which aired from October 1981 to March 1986.

In a high-stakes game of tag, Ataru must touch Lum’s horns in ten days—or aliens will take over the earth! The fact that Lum can fly doesn’t make Ataru’s job any easier. As it turns out, the game of tag is only the beginning of Ataru’s problems as he continues to attract strange encounters with otherworldly creatures like the beautiful snow spirit Oyuki and the sexy crow goblin princess Kurama!
