New trailer for Undead Unluck was revealed on Sunday. The series will premiere in October 2023 and will air exclusively on Hulu in the United States. Studio David Productions (Firepower, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure) is in charge of the animation, and TMS Entertainment is producing the series. Watch the new trailer below:

Undead Unluck is based on the manga written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. The series began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in January 2020 and has since released a total of 16 volumes and 164 chapters. The series won the 2020 Next Manga Award, joining other big-name series that also won the award, including Oshi no Ko (2021), Kaguya-sama: Love is war (2017) and My Hero Academia (2015). The manga has over 1.8 million copies in circulation as of July 2023.
VIZ Media licensed the series in English and described the series as:
All Fuuko wants is a passionate romance like the one in her favorite shojo manga. Unfortunately, her capacity for misfortune makes this impossible. But just as Fuuko hits rock bottom, Andy sweeps her off her feet—literally! She has now become Andy’s unwilling test subject as he works to find a way to give Misfortune a stroke large enough to kill him for good. However, when the couple discover that a secret organization is after them, it postpones Andy’s funeral plans.
