
Tsuyoshi Yasuda’s Mibu Blue Wolves is getting an anime adaptation
The Blue Wolves of Mibu, historical manga by Tsuyoshi Yasuda is getting an anime adaptation. MAHO FILM animated it under the direction of Kumiko Habara. A video and preview were released as part of the announcement.
Kenta Ihara will do the series composition, while Yuko Ooba and Miyako Nishida will do the character designs. Yuki Hayashi will compose the music. Toshiki Kameyama is the sound engineer. As of this writing, no cast details have been announced.

The The Blue Wolves of Mibu manga by Tsuyoshi Yasuda was serialized by Weekly Shonen Magazine from October 2021. Kodansha USA recently announced that the manga has been licensed in English and will be released in spring 2024. The plot was described as:

Tsuyoshi Yasuda is known for his other manga titles such as Days and Over Drive. Days received an anime adaptation by MAPPA, which aired 24 episodes from July to December 2016. Meanwhile, Over Drive received an anime adaptation by Xebec Studio, which aired from April to September 2007 for 26 episodes. Yasuda is also a manga author InspirED, a collaboration between Kodansha and the professional football club Liverpool FC.
