Second season Tsurune anime series has been officially announced and will begin airing in January 2023. As part of the announcement, a key visual for the highly anticipated sequel was released:
Joining TsuruneJoining the cast of the second season is Jun Fukuyama, who will play the role of sophomore Eisuke Nikaido. The announcement was made during the stage greeting for the premiere of the franchise film Tsurune – Hajimari no Issha – (Tsurune: The Beginning Arrow). A trailer for the second season will be released on August 26.
Tsurune is based on the light novel series by Kotoko Ayano, with illustrations by Chinatsu Morimoto. It has been serialized in KA Esuma Bunko since December 26, 2016. It received an anime adaptation by Kyoto Animation that aired from October 2018 to January 2019. The same studio also animated the film.

When Narumiya Minato joins Kazemai Prefectural High School, he is quickly invited to join the archery club by the club’s advisor, Tomi-sensei. His childhood friends Takehaya Seiya and Yamanuchi Ryohei quickly agree to join, but Minato is initially hesitant. Since Minato is the rare student with archery experience, Tomi-sensei orders him to do a demonstration, which Minato does… only his arrow misses the mark. Minato is revealed to have developed a terrible archery dysfunction.
