The official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Ren Eguchi and illustrated by mass, Tondemo Skill of Isekai Hourou Meshi (Campfire Cooking in Another Life with My Absurd Skill), revealed the second promotional video for the project. The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for January 10, 2023 in Japanand shows a snippet of the musical themes, including:
- shop van the opening theme titled “Chocolate and Saji“, even though Yuma Uchida the final theme titled “happy-go-trip“.
The press release also announced new members of the voice cast, including:
- Yuko Kaida like Kisharl.
- Saho Shirasu like Rusalka.
The platform crunchyroll take care of its distribution in the West. Tondemo Isekai Hourou Meshi Skill Summary
Along with three other heroes, 27-year-old Mukouda Tsuyoshi is transported to a fantasy world to rescue a kingdom from a mysterious threat. However, it soon becomes clear that Tsuyoshi was drawn into the summoning ritual by accident. His only ability is “Food Menu”, which allows him to open an interface where he can buy and receive supermarket items related to modern Japanese food.
Tsuyoshi was unceremoniously thrown out of the palace, and Tsuyoshi strikes out alone in his new life. However, his ability to create delicious dishes unknown to this world soon pays off, even attracting the legendary wolf Fenrir. Fenrir is so taken with the food that the creature immediately makes a contract with Tsuyoshi, knowing him. Together with this whimsical mythical being, Tsuyoshi undertakes a job as a merchant and adventurer, traveling and cooking delicious meals that do not spoil the inhabitants of this world.
