Todrick Hall tells the story of Taylor Swift’s gesture to a man suffering from cancer
Todrick Hall has shared a story about Taylor Swift, expressing her kindness to a fan who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Sharing a video to her Instagram on Monday (December 19), Hall began the clip by saying, “I have a little story time I want to share with you,” before opening up about her friendship with Swift.
“I think these stories aren’t being shared enough,” says Hall. “Since we are on vacation, I thought this story could warm your heart.”
She explained that she received a message earlier this month from her friend Holly, who told her that her close friend Estelle, a “huge Taylor Swift fan,” had recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Holly told Hall that Estelle’s was the dream of receiving a personalized message from the singer and that she had previously organized a Swift-themed bachelorette party.
“When I saw the footage of this amazing bachelorette party, I was like, ‘Okay, Taylor needs to see this,'” Hall continues. “So I sent the videos, the pictures and the message to Taylor and [ella] she answered so sweetly and said, ‘I would love to send you something. What is your address?
According to Hall, Swift then sent Estelle a box full of products and other gifts. “I know he’s grinning from ear to ear,” said Hall. “She’s been DM’ing me all day.”
And he continued: “I just wanted you to know that there are many stories like this that I could tell, but this one in particular touched my heart. I hope it touched yours heart, I hope it made you smile.”
In other Taylor Swift news, Ticketmaster still has 170,000 tickets to sell for Swift’s upcoming ‘The Eras Tour’ after the general sale was canceled due to “extremely high demand.”
According to Billboard, Ticketmaster will distribute the remaining tickets over the next four weeks through Ticketstoday, which was originally created in the early 2000s so members of the Dave Matthews Band fan club could buy tickets. It was acquired by Live Nation in 2008 and now “operates the Ticketmaster Verified Fan Request platform.”
In the first round of sales for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour,” thousands of fans reported long wait times, website downtime, and exorbitant prices on ticket sites (including Ticketmaster itself). The ticket company later admitted that Swift fans had faced “historically unprecedented demand” before the general sale was cancelled.
In a statement of her own, Swift refused to “make excuses” for Ticketmaster, saying that she and her staff “tried with them, many times, if they could handle this kind of lawsuit” and “proved to them that they could.”
