The Weeknd has released a remix of his ‘Dawn FM’ song ‘Best Friends’, featuring Summer Walker – listen to it below.
It’s the latest song from their fifth album to get the remix treatment, following Kaytranada’s revision of ‘Out Of Time’, Oneohtrix Point Never’s ‘Dawn FM’ and Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Sacrifice’, among others.

Dawn FM” is the follow-up to 2020’s “After Hours”. In a four-star review, NME wrote that their latest album is “a period of reflection and perhaps their most emotionally mature and powerful collection to date until now”.
In other news, The Weeknd announced that he is launching two haunted houses at Universal Studios in Hollywood and the Universal Orlando complex inspired by ‘After Hours’.
The houses, called The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare, have been designed by Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights in collaboration with the singer himself.
They are based on the visuals and aesthetics of the album, taking inspiration from various horror and sci-fi films.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, The Weeknd noted that he’s “always wanted” to have his own haunted house, especially one held at Halloween Horror Nights. “Halloween has always been important to my music, so this is a dream come true,” he said.
The Weekend: After Hours Nightmare opens September 2 at Universal Orlando Resort and September 8 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
