The Weeknd has revealed that he no longer entertains the idea of major films in his music career after releasing a new song titled ‘Another One Of Me’.
While performing at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland earlier this week (August 9), the singer told fans that he won’t be doing any more songs with other artists: “I want to say that it’s this is the last one. the song I do in my career, so I want to do it for you tonight,” he told the crowd.
At the moment it is not known who the main characters of the theme are and when it will go on sale.
Two days later (August 11), The Weeknd shared a snippet of his performance of “Another One Of Me” on Twitter, adding that it would be his last performance “unless [Daft Punk] come back together.”

The Weeknd teamed up with Daft Punk on their 2016 album “Starboy,” collaborating with them on the title track and “I Feel It Coming.” He performed with the French duo at the 2017 Grammys.
Daft Punk announced their split in February 2021, and Thomas Bangalter – one half of the duo – recently revealed he was “relieved” at the way the band ended.
In their review of The Weeknd’s recent Manchester tour stop, NME wrote: “The Weeknd’s ability to dominate the charts with hit after hit after hit means there may well be a debate over which song should have ended it. tonight’s main performance, but ‘Blinding Lights’, from 2020’s ‘After Hours’, is the obvious choice: a unified stadium force, which would inspire the kind of massive chorus you might hear at Old Trafford, on the other side of Manchester”.
On the other hand, The Weeknd has confirmed that he is “finishing up” his new album. The singer, who recently announced his intention to drop the pseudonym and record under his birth name Abel Tesfaye, has announced a trilogy of albums which have so far included the LPs ‘After Hours’ and ‘Dawn FM’.
“I’m finishing the third part of this saga, of this trilogy,” he revealed. “The name will be out soon, but it’s not what fans think it’s called… it’s a song on the album what they think it’s called, but it’s not what the album is called the album itself. I’m going to say that.”
