During the event Aniplex Online Festival 2023 A new promotional video has been revealed for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Takuma Sakai and illustrated by Asagi Toosaka, Warming the Pig’s Liver: The Story of a Man Who Turned into a Pig (But not Kanetsu Shiro). The video confirms that The premiere is scheduled for October 7 in Japan.and shows a snippet of the theme songs, including:
- ASCUS the opening theme titled “Watashi ga Warau Wake ha“, even though mouk the final theme titled “Historical“.
Asagi Toosaka Publication of light novels through the publishing label began Dengeki Bunko from the publisher Kadokawa in March 2020. manga adaptation by Minami which is published through the journal Dengeki Maoh from the publisher Kadokawa from August 2020.

Summary of Heating the Pig’s Liver
An unattractive otaku wakes up in a pig’s body after dying and eating raw pig’s liver. The pig finds herself in the company of Jess, an innocent girl who can read people’s minds, and accepts him despite her perverted thoughts… even though she plans to eat him. When Jess is in danger of succumbing to a dark fate, can the pig save her using only her quick wits, wisdom and refined scent?
