The service netlab conducted a poll among its Japanese readers asking them their favorite character from a multimedia franchise Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid). Although the survey was conducted between July 18 and 30, 2021, and a total of 6,837 participations were listed in the count.

Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon Summary
As Kobayashi leaves for another day at work, she opens the door to her apartment to find an unusually terrifying sight: a dragon’s head looking down at her from the balcony. The dragon immediately transforms into a beautiful, busty and energetic young woman, dressed in a maid outfit, who introduces herself as Tohru. As it turned out, the stoic programmer had stumbled across the dragon the night before on a wild hike through the mountains, and since the mythical beast had nowhere else to go, she offered the creature a place to stay in her home . So, Tohru took advantage of the offer, willing to repay her Savior’s kindness by working as her personal servant. Although he deeply regrets his words and is reluctant to keep his promise, a combination of guilt and Tohru’s incredible dragon ability convinces Kobayashi to take the girl in.
Despite being extremely efficient at her job, Kobayashi is often horrified by the housekeeper’s unacceptable ways and sometimes causes her more trouble than help. In addition, the circumstances surrounding the dragon’s arrival on Earth seem to be much more complicated than it appears at first glance, as Tohru is saddled with some heavy feelings and painful memories. As if that wasn’t enough, Tohru’s presence draws other mythical beings to her new home, causing many eccentric personalities to appear. Although Kobayashi does her best to handle the crazy situation she finds herself in, nothing has prepared her for this new life with a dragon maid.
