The Misfit of Demon King Academy Season 2has finally caught up to where it left off before its delay, and the preview for episode 7 has been released. The episode premieres on August 19, and you can watch it here:

The anime originally began airing in January of this year, but was delayed due to production issues. Broadcasting resumed in July. Yuichiro Umehara replaced Tatsuhisa Suzuki as the voice of Anos, while the rest of the cast reprise their roles. The staff includes:

The Misfit of Demon King Academy the series is based on a light novel written by Shu and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma. The light novel began serialization in Dengeki Bunko in 2018, followed by a manga adaptation by Kayaharuka in MangaUp! magazine. As Kayaharuka passed away in 2021, the manga was put on hold indefinitely.
Square Enix licensed the manga in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. They describe the story:
Anos Voldigord was a tyrannical demon king who exterminated men, spirits, and even the gods. But he grew bored of the eternal war and was reborn with dreams of a peaceful world. But what awaited him in the rebirth after 2000 years were descendants who became too weak after being used to peace, and all kinds of magic that deteriorated to the extreme. Anos enters the Demon King Academy, which gathers and trains those who are believed to be the reincarnation of the Demon King. But the academy couldn’t see his true powers and ended up branding him a misfit!
