Yuri Kisaragi, the artist of The magical revolution of the reincarnated princess and the genius young lady light novel series, released a special artwork following the release of episode 5 on Wednesday. The illustration shows the main characters Anisfia and Euphilia in the lovely dresses from the last episode. Kisaragi thanks everyone who attended the 5th episode premiere. Studio Diomedéa animated the TV anime with Shingo Tamaki as director.

The magical revolution of the reincarnated princess and the genius young lady The light novel was written by Piero Karasu and illustrated by Yuri Kisaragi. It was originally serialized online on the user-generated novel publishing website Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2019. Fujimi Shobo later acquired the series and published it in print in January 2020 under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with art done by Harutsugu Nadaka launched in July 2020.
Yen Press licensed both the light novel and the manga, and they describe the plot of the first volume of the light novel as:
Despite her supposed inability with ordinary magic, Princess Anisfia defies the expectations of the aristocracy by developing “magical science,” a unique magical theory based on memories of her past life. One day, she witnesses the brilliant noblewoman Euphilia being unfairly stripped of her title as the kingdom’s next monarch. Anisfia then comes up with a plan to help Euphilia regain her good name – which somehow involves them living together and researching magic! However, these two ladies don’t know that their chance meeting will change not only their own future, but also that of the kingdom… and the whole world!
