The icy guy and his cool colleague anime released non-credit Opening (OP) and Ending (ED) videos earlier today. Studios ZERO-G and Liber are animating the adaptation, and the first episode aired on Wednesday. Takao Sakuma performs the opening theme song “FROZEN MIDNIGHT” while Nowlu sings the ending theme song “Linaria” in the anime.
The anime is based on Miyuki TonogayaThe icy guy and his cool colleaguemanga serialized on Square Enix’s Gangan pixiv manga website. The series released the first collected volume on July 22, 2019, and the final volume, the 7th, on December 21, 2022.
Comiceylicensed the manga for English editions and described the plot as:
Himuro-kun is a living descendant of the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore. But whenever he’s around his eccentric but kind colleague, Fuyutsuki-san, he completely freezes up! Despite the blizzard of love raging in his heart, and her complete indifference, will he take a step forward or remain frozen in place?
