Watch episode 1 of The icy guy and his cool colleague the anime was released ahead of its January 4 premiere date. Mankyu directed the series, while Zero-G and Liber studios animated it.
Episode 1 focuses on the first meeting between Fuyutsuki-san (voiced by Yui Ishikawa) and Himuro-kun (voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi). When Himuro is overcome by strong emotions such as fear, he literally freezes. But thanks to Fuyutsuki, he calms down eventually and joins other colleagues, mainly Komori-san and Saejima-kun.
The icy guy and his cool colleague is based on Miyuki Tonogaya The icy guy and his cool colleague manga serialized on Square Enix’s Gangan pixiv manga website. The series released the first collected volume on July 22, 2019, and the sixth volume on June 22, 2022.

Himuro-kun, the descendant of a modern-day snow woman, is a newcomer to the company who creates a snowstorm, a snowman, and a kamakura when his emotions get the better of him. On the other hand, Fuyutsuki-san, who is often considered cool by others, is also very interested in the mysterious Himuro-kun.
Their relationship gradually changes through daily work and company events, they also start spending time alone together, but both are clumsy in love and cannot close the distance one more step…
