A man with a chainsaw“Tablet” anime episode 4 ending video without subtitles by TOOBOE has surpassed 10 million views on YouTube since it was posted on November 2, 2022. The video was uploaded to MAPPA’s official channel and became the second subtitled video to pass 10 million views after the third episode “Hawatari 2 oku-cenchi” of MAXIMUM THE HORMONE. The opening video of the anime without credit with Kenshi Yonezu’s “KICK BACK” has been surpassed 50 million views this week.

MAPPA animatesA man with a chainsawanime based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga of the same name serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to January 2021 for a total of 11 volumes. The second part of the series is published on Shueisha’s online manga service Shonen Jump+. The series surpassed 16 million copies in circulation with the release of the 12th volume on October 4. The anime adaptation was voted the most anticipated anime of fall 2022 by Anime Corner fans, and the anime also won the 2022 Google Search Awards in the anime category.
