The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 will have its US premiere at this year’s Anime Expo. The subtitled version will premiere on July 1st, while the dubbed version comes on July 4th. Seiichiro Yamashita (Japanese voice of Cid/Shadow), Adam Gibbs (English voice of Cid/Shadow), and Christina Kelly (EN voice of Alpha) will be attending the premiere. HIDIVE is premiering in the US after acquiring the title for an exclusive simulcast that will begin this October.
Nexus returns to animation Eminence in the shadows season 2, directed by Kazuya Nakanishi. The first season of the anime premiered on October 5, 2022 and had a total of 20 episodes with 2 courses. The main cast includes Seiichiro Yamashita as Sid Kageno/Shadow, Kana Hanazawa as Alexia Midgar, and Yoko Hikasa as Iris Midgar. Other cast members include:

Eminence in the shadows is a Japanese light novel series written by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by Toza. It began serialization in 2017 and also has manga and 4-koma adaptations.Yen Presslicenses the light novel and describes the plot as:
Even in his past life, Sid’s dream wasn’t to become the main character or final boss. He prefers to hide as a minor character until the best time comes to reveal that he is a mastermind…or at least do the next best thing – pretend to be one!
