The Devil is Part Time (Hataraku Maou-sama) Season 2 Episode 2 preview is now available on the website. The episode will air on July 21st at 23:30 JST and will be available to watch on Muse Asia, Bilibili, Crunchyroll, Disney+ in selected regions.

The devil is part time is a light novel by Satoshi Wagahara. It was also adapted into a manga series by Akio Hiiragi. The first season of the anime aired in 2013 and was animated by Studio White Fox. Meanwhile, the second season is already being animated by Studio 3Hz. Muse Asiadescribes the plot:

“In the Ente Isla parallel, they were Overlord and Hero. But in modern Tokyo, they are hardworking employees of the modern world under new identities, Sadao Mau and Emi Yusa. Together with his two confidants at the Master’s Castle and the loving high school girl Chiho, Mau adjusts to life in Japan while struggling with the tough economic times. One day a mysterious little girl appears and the lord’s castle is in turmoil!

The Overlord’s Castle is tasked with raising a child while visitors from Ente Isla keep coming. They also have to work to support the people living in the Overlord’s castle, which is a miserable six-bed room! And so, the folklore fantasy of the part-time Overlord unfolds again in the second season of the anime!
