The Dark Gathering manga may have an anime adaptation

A recent leak claimed that the horror-comedy manga was written and illustrated by Kenichi Kodou, Dark MeetingIt will have an anime adaptation. The leak did not reveal more details about it and it should be noted that there is no confirmation yet about it.

Kondou started publishing the manga through the magazine Jump SQ from the publisher Shueisha in March 2019, and the publisher published the ninth compiled volume on March 4, followed by a tenth on August 4 in Japan. Confirmation of the anime adaptation is expected perhaps in the headline of the other compiled volume.

Summary of the Dark Meeting

Keitarou Gentouga is a college student who hates ghosts. Unfortunately for him, he has a gift to entice spirits. Two years ago, because of this connection he received a spiritual wound on his right hand, which left his friend trapped in the cross fire. Due to the event he withdrew himself, leaving little social skills. Fortunately, Keitarou is slowly beginning to mix into society, thanks to the help of his childhood friend, Eiko Houzuki.

As part of his rehabilitation, Keitarou takes a part-time job as an instructor, and Eiko’s cousin Yayoi Houzuki is his first student. As well as being a child of prodigy, Yayoi has another peculiarity: she has a spiritual constitution, just like Keitarou. Unlike Keitarou, however, she is eager to meet spirits, hoping to find the ghost her mother took. As Yitaroi and Eiko drag Keitarou to haunted locations, his part – time job seems to be moving further and further from his original purpose.
