The official site for the Anime adaptation of the Manga written and illustrated by Taku Kawamura, My First Clever Friend (Jijou wo Shirai Tenkousei and Guigui Kuru), revealed a new announcement for the project. The video confirms that The premiere is scheduled for April 9 in Japan.and shows a snippet of the final theme titled “crown” and illustrated by Kitri.
More members of the voice cast were also announced, including:
- Maruoka dance as Sumire Kasahara.
- Kouhei Amasaki as Kotarou Kitagawa.
- June Fukuyama as Akane’s father.
Kawamura started publishing the manga through the magazine joker gangan from the publisher Square Enix in May 2018. Before that, the author already wrote other works that are not adapted for anime, for example King! todome-senpai and Kawaii Kouhai and Iwasaretai.

- Takafumi Hoshikawa (shaman king) and Shogo Yasukawa (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Ayakashi Triangle) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Toshiba Masuda (Kiss Kamisama, Naruto) is in charge of composing the soundtrack.
Summary of My First Clever Friend
Others are attracted when a calm airhead meets the loner of his new class in this heartwarming school comedy series.
