Anime Fans Don’t Let Anticipation Go Chain Saw ManSince that Rumors about a movie and a second season have been part of the conversation for months.. The first season of the anime left a lasting impression on fans, with debates ranging from the impressive technical quality of the production to whether MAPPA managed to capture the essence of the original manga. The user known as “@Tsumize”, who considers himself a ‘leaker’, has shared some interesting information via his Twitter account: “The new movie and the second season of Chainsaw Man, produced by MAPPA, will be released in 2024“. It is important to note that none of the other known whistleblowers have echoed this leak, reducing the possibility of confirmation.
In fact, nothing from the leak is actually confirmed. Since the anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man ended, the production has not mentioned anything about a continuation. While the franchise event and MAPPA STAGE 2023 had two big breaks this year, there was dead silence on future updates. The rumor of a second season and movie also surfaced as a leak and
Checking MAPPA’s calendars, we can see that they have several projects pending and, unlike Chainsaw Man, officially announced. Among them, the original anime “Bucchigiri?!” confirmed for January 2024, but a second season of “ is also pending.Hell Paradise: Jigokuraku“; the original anime”Lazarus“; and the moviesyew!!! on Ice The Film: Ice Adolescence” and “The film Zombieland Saga“if they’re really doing it.
It is currently impossible to predict when we will have more official information regarding the anime adaptation”Chain Saw Man“, but this was exploited by having multiple Twitter accounts appear and they send an alleged leak of the franchise with the objective of getting a few good miles.
The anime adaptation aired during the season of Autumn-2022 (October-December) and there were twelve episodes in total. On the other hand, Fujimoto started with the publication of the manga Chain Saw Man in the magazine Weekly Shōnen jump from the publisher Shueisha in December 2018, completing the first part in December 2020. The second part of the work was moved to the digital service Shōnen Jump Pluswhere it has been published since July 2022.
Summary for Chain Saw Man
The story takes place in a world where Demons threaten the peace of the people, making them targets for elimination. Denji is a depressed young man who sold some of his organs and works as a lumberjack and devil hunter to pay his late father’s debts. Denji (who is also a demon) has a dog named Pochita, who has a chainsaw and uses it to do his work.
This is explained by the fact that humans can make contracts with demons. After returning home from a job, Yakuza asks Denji to infiltrate a building and kill another demon. However, the plan to assassinate him turned out to be a trap as part of the Yakuza’s deal with the devil, which gained them more power. But Pochita comes to Denji’s aid and bails him out.
