The official Twitter account of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten anime posted a photo of a white cake to celebrate main character Amane Fujimiya’s birthday on November 8th. On the eve of the day, the account posted a photo of the character with the caption “What day is tomorrow November 8th?? Here’s a hint; Amane-kun“.

The photo post shows an Amane Fujimiya topper on the white cake and a heart-shaped topper with the letters “Happy Birthday Amane” surrounded by blue flowers and a large blue ribbon behind them. Part of the caption reads, “Let’s celebrate his birthday together,” and the tweet mentions heroine Mahiru Shiina at the end to conclude, “What’s left is Mahiru’s birthday on December 6.”

Taito Ban (Shizusumi Yagi in given) stars as Amane Fujimiya, while Manaka Iwami (Toru vFruit Basket (2019)) voices Mahiru Shiina in the anime adaptation.

The light novel released the final, 7th volume in September 2022.

Yen Press licensed the series for release in English and described the plot offirst volumeas:
Mahiru is a beautiful girl whose classmates call her “angel”. Not only is she a star athlete with perfect grades—she’s also stunningly beautiful. Amane, an average person and a self-confessed slob, never thought much of divine beauty despite attending the same school. However, everything changes when he happens to see Mahiru sitting alone in a park during a rainstorm. Thus begins the strange relationship between this incredibly unlikely couple!
