The Ancient Wizard’s Bride Season 2 Episode 2 Reveals New Trailer

The upcoming sophomore year of Bride of the ancient wizard season 2 revealed a new trailer. Studio Kafka is animating the series sequel, which is scheduled to premiere on October 5, 2023. JUNNA performs the opening theme song again:

The Ancient Mage’s Brideis based on a manga by Kore Yamazaki that began serialization in 2013, first in Mag Garden’s Monthly Comic Blade before moving to Monthly Comic Garden magazine in 2014. An anime adaptation by WIT Studio aired in 2017 and there were 24 episodes. before the premiereThe Ancient Wizard’s Bride: Those Who Wait for a StarThe OVA, which served as an introduction to the series, aired from 2016 to 2017 with a total of 3 episodes.

A new OAD (Original Animation Disc) series titledThe Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Stormpremieres in 2021. Although it focuses on new characters, the original cast still appears. Studio Kafka took on the 3-part OVA, with Kazuaki Terasawa as director. All episodes come bundled with special edition manga volumes – the third and final one is expected on September 9 with the 18th volume.

Seven Seas Entertainmentlicenses the original manga and describes the plot as:
Hattori Chise has lived a life full of neglect and abuse, devoid of anything resembling love. Away from the warmth of family, she has had her share of troubles and pitfalls. Just when all hope seems lost, a fateful encounter awaits her. When a beast-headed man with strange powers obtains her through a slave auction, Chise’s life will never be the same.
The man is a “mage”, a wizard of great power who decides to free Chiz from the shackles of captivity. The mage then makes a bold announcement: Chise will become his apprentice—and his bride!
