On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken (That Time I Got Reborn as Slime), a new promotional image has been revealed for the next feature film in the franchise, titled Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Movie: Guren no Kizuna-hen (Scarlet Band). The press release confirmed that the premiere remains scheduled for next November 25th in theaters in Japan, although Crunchyroll it will distribute it in Latin America in 2023.
The official summary writes:
- A long-running conspiracy revolves around a mysterious power called “Queen” in Raja, a small country west of Tempest. When a Demon Lord named Rimuru Tempest crosses paths with Hiiro, a survivor of the Ogre race, an amazing adventure full of new characters begins. The power of bonds will be tested!
The studios produced the first season of the anime adaptation 8-Bitled Yasuhito Kikuchi and scripts written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasuand premiered in October 2018. The second season was directed by Atsushi Nakayama and aired in two halves in January 2021 and July 2021 in Japan.

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Summary
Satoru Mikami, 37, is an ordinary company worker who is perfectly happy with his monotonous lifestyle in Tokyo, except that he has never found a girlfriend in his life. When he meets his colleague, he is accosted and harassed by random muggers on the street. However, as he succumbs to his injuries, a strange voice enters his mind, reciting a series of commands that the dying man cannot make sense of. When Satoru regains consciousness, he finds that he has been reimplanted as a slime in an unknown realm. In doing so, he gains new abilities, most notably the power to wear anything and mimic its appearance and abilities.
There, he stumbles upon the sealed monster on the devastating level “Storm Dragon” Veldora, who has been sealed for the past 300 years from wandering through a city. Realizing his situation, Satoru befriends him and promises to help him destroy the seal. In return, Veldora gives him the name Rimuru Tempest to give him divine protection. Rimuru is now free from the challenge of his previous life, and embarks on a new journey with a clear goal in mind. As he adjusts to his new body, his old stories spread throughout the world, gradually changing his destiny.
