Surrounded by the hateful gazes of her people, the selfish princess of the fallen Tearmoon Empire, Mia, takes one last look at the bleeding sun before the guillotine blade falls… Only to wake up as a twelve-year-old again! With time turned back and a second chance at life dropped in her lap, she sets out to right the myriad wrongs plaguing the ailing empire. Corrupt governance? Check it out. Boundary problems? Check it out. Natural disasters and economic conflicts? Check it out. My, looks like a lot of work. Hard work and Mia don’t mix, so she enlists the help of others, starting with her loyal maid Anne and the brilliant minister Ludwig. Together they strive day and night to restore the Empire. Little by little, their tireless efforts begin to change the course of history, pushing the entire continent towards a new future. And why did the selfish princess change her mind, you ask? It’s just that she didn’t. He’s just afraid of the guillotine. It hurts like hell, and Mia hates the pain more than the work.
