Taylor Swift jokes about leaving the stage after a failed performance
Taylor Swift has joked about her reaction to a recent stage malfunction on the ‘Eras’ tour – watch the video below.
The pop star was at a concert at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, last Friday (June 30) when the disaster occurred.
While Swift was performing her “Reputation” single, Look What You Made Me Do, a hatch that allowed the singer quick access backstage did not open in time. Instead, she had to run down the runway, avoiding a group of her backup dancers along the way.
Several concertgoers captured this moment, which went viral on social media. The TikTok clip, which has already surpassed two million views, caught the attention of Swift herself, who joked about the situation.
“Still swift a boi,” he wrote in the comments section, referring to the speed of his unplanned departure.

Another part of the “Eras” concert tour that has gone viral is a spectacular visual stunt in which Swift dives to the floor of the stage before being seen swimming under it.
Meanwhile, Swift’s second concert in a row in Cincinnati on Saturday (July 1) featured a surprise duet with Aaron Dessner and Gracie Abrams on the track ‘Evermore’ ‘Ivy’ and Abrams’ ‘I Miss You, I’m Sorry ,’ respectively.
Swift will bring her “Eras” tour to the UK and Ireland next summer. The tour includes five concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium, as well as stops in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff and Dublin. The star is also said to headline Glastonbury 2024.
Elsewhere, the singer will release ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ this Friday (July 7).
