Taylor Swift suffered a permanent eight-minute hiatus during the penultimate night of her US 2023 ‘Eras Tour’.
The emotional moment came after the singer-songwriter performed the song “Champagne Problems” as part of the “Evermore” segment of her 45-song tour earlier this week.
“What shall I tell you now after this?” Swift said in response to the massive crowd reaction at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Tuesday night (August 8), according to Billboard.
“That was very unusual and beautiful. I don’t know what to do or say.”
He continued: “I think it’s safe to say that I, like everyone, will experience a certain amount of emotional downward spirals for the rest of my life. And at those times, I can Be sure I’ll consider what you said.
“And I’ll feel better. So, thank you. That was crazy. That was crazy!”
Swift, moved to tears by the gesture, said: “I’m going to spend years trying to find words for what I’ve been feeling. I’m trying to pull myself together. I’m in complete control of I’ve lost my brain, and that’s your fault”.
“I’m going swimming for the rest of the show, so thanks for that.”

Last night (August 9), Swift closed out the 2023 US leg of her mammoth “Eras Tour” with a sixth and final show at SoFi Stadium. During the concert, the star surprised the audience by announcing “1989 (Taylor Version).”
Before sharing the news on stage, Swift said: “And here we are, on the last night of the US leg of the ‘Eras Tour.’ In the eighth month of the year, on the ninth day…”
Swift is scheduled to travel to Mexico later this month, before making stops in Argentina and Brazil in November.
The massive “Eras Tour” will visit Australia in early 2024, followed by dates in Europe and the UK next spring/summer. At the end of next year there will be more concerts in North America.
