Takuya Eguchi, the voice actor of Loid Forger in Spy x Family anime, chose his best scene from episode 25, which marks the finale of the first season. The voice actor was also cast in episode 12, the final episode of the first course.
The anime’s official Twitter account and TOHO Animation’s YouTube channel have been posting a weekly video showing a cast or staff member choosing the best scene from each episode along with their comments, and the new update is for the 25th episode of the anime,entitled “First contact.”
In the episode, Agent Loid Forger finally gets a chance to connect with the target of his mission, Donovan Desmond. Takuya Eguchi describes his best scene as “As if it almost broke the image of Desmond I had so far, the moment where he looks tender made me feel quite scared.In the video, the scene is followed by the announcement trailer for the second season of the anime and the movie at the end.

The collaborative anime of WIT STUDIO and CloverWorksSpy x Familybased on Tatsuya Endo’s Shonen Jump+ manga of the same name, began in April 2022 and finished its first course in June with 12 episodes, and the second course aired from October to December of the year. The anime is getting a second season and an original film adaptation. The manga surpassed 26.5 million copies in circulation with the release of the 10th volume on October 4.
