The coffee shop fromLycoris Recoiloriginal anime, Café LycoReco, posted a “photo” of Takina Inoue wearing a kimono on Twitter on Sunday. The store posted “pictures” of characters even after the anime ended. The new photo came with a caption from Chisato Nishikigi:

For this year, I will visit the first shrine with Takina✌️✨
Jeez, Takina is praying for too many wishes lol

The anime’s official Twitter accountquote-tweetit said to her:We wish you a happy new year 🎍🌅 We will appreciate your support for #lycoreco and #cafelycoreco this year 🐰✨”
Previously, Café LycoReco posted a selfie of Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue after the finale ofLycoris Recoiloriginal anime, and in mid-November a photo of Kurumi enjoying sweets on a tropical island by Mizuki Nakahara. In early December, the store also revealed that Takina was coming with new menu items, and on Christmas, Chisato, Takina, and Mizuki threw a party.
Studio A-1 Pictures produced the originalLycoris Recoilanime that aired from July to September 2022. The story is written by Asaura, known for his light novel about fighting over bento-boxesBen-Towhile the characters were designed by Imigimuru, the author ofThis art club has a problemmanga. Shingo Adachi, who is known as the chief animation director and character designer of theSword Art Onlineseries, directed the series. Fans voted the anime as Anime Corner’s best anime of the summer 2022 season, and one of the main characters, Chisato Nishikigi, won the best girl of the season award.
