Stray Kids’ Bang Chan Says He Is Not Allowed To Continue His Series On Livestream

Stray Kids member Bang Chan has revealed that he cannot continue with his popular live broadcast series, Chan’s Room.

Bang Chan is known for hosting weekly live streams on YouTube, and previously on VLIVE, where he would chat with fans and discuss various topics. The musician launched the series at the beginning of 2019, and the last episode will take place on May 14 this year.

In particular, the May 14 episode of Chan’s Room sparked controversy over Bang Chan’s comments about generational differences in greeting protocol, following his experience at the Paris Music Bank event in April.

Bang Chan later apologized for these comments in a post on Stray Kids’ official Instagram. “I have considered the impact my words and behavior may have on others, and I have reflected deeply on myself,” he wrote at the time.

In a video caught by a fan on Twitter, during what appears to be a fan meeting, Bang Chan reveals that he can’t “do the Chan Room anymore.” And he says: “I really want to do it, but the company says no.”

In other news, Stray Kids will be performing at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, which will be held at the Prudence Center in New Jersey on Tuesday, September 12. MÃ¥neskin, Demi Lovato and Karol G will also be present, among others.

On the other hand, two members of the boyband have recently become ambassadors for luxury fashion brands. Australian Felix Lee will represent the French brand Louis Vuitton, while Hyunjin will work with the Italian Versace.
