[Su compañero de banda] Matt [Miller] and I have a clear vision for the future and it starts now. We’ve recorded the Sparta album with a bunch of friends, new and old, and we couldn’t be happier – this record is so loved and I can’t wait for people to hear it.

He added: “It was really important for me to go beyond the music I was making before and let go of the ‘rules’ that I thought were. until I sent them a message asking if they were wanting to join me on this new record – it’s been really exciting during a stressful time.”

Ahead of the album’s release, The Get Up Kids will be on a US tour starting tonight (August 22).
