Something Corporate announces their first concert in 13 years

Something Corporate have announced that they will reunite next year for their first concert in 13 years.

The Californian rock band will reunite to take part in the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas next October, it was announced yesterday (October 12).

News of the full reunion comes after the four band members unexpectedly reunited on stage during a concert in Anaheim, California, last month, where they performed six songs at singer Andrew’s 40th anniversary concert McMahon to celebrate.

Speaking about the reunion show at When We Were Young, which will be the band’s first concert since their 2010 US reunion tour, McMahon tweeted: “Well I guess since #somethingcorporate has trend right now, I’m going to jump in here for the first time ever and let you know how excited the band and I are to be playing When We Were Young 2023.”

In an interview with Alternative Press, McMahon spoke of last month’s mini-meeting: “It’s really weird that we can all be together. I felt like it was an opportunity to not just make a show about it, but also for them to sing some songs play. me and let’s go crazy together”. Nobody knows this is happening, so I like the low pressure version of this.”

Discussing whether a reunion and full tour could happen, he said: “I love these guys, and if there’s another chance to get on stage and play songs with them, I’d definitely welcome it.

“However, full tours and albums seem to come when we all have families and lives that are pretty thin. We’ll keep our fingers crossed that there will be another day or time, at least, where we can go on stage sometime. “where. I’ll put it in the ether and hope it comes back.”
