- On July 23, 2022, artist Jang Sung-Rak, the illustrator of the webtoon “Solo Leveling”, left our side due to a sudden decline in health. Chugong published the original novels leveled only through Kakao page between July 2016 and March 2018, with a total of fourteen volumes. A March 2018 webtoon adaptation was published via Kakao page from hand Jang Sung-rak and ended in December 2021. Anime adaptation produced by studios in Japan Pictures A-1 currently in production.
Summary of Individual Leveling
Since it seems a portal that connects our world with another one full of monsters and creatures of all kinds, there are some people who got powers and the ability to hunt them, get the name hunters. The main character, Sung Jin-woo, is the weakest of the E-class hunters and barely stronger than a normal human. His fellow hunters nickname him “the weakest”. One day, he and others are trapped in a very dangerous dungeon, and only a few survive and manage to escape. Sung Jin-woo himself barely survives and is the only person who completed all the trials in this dungeon, being a “player”, now able to see an interface that shows him quests, stats, inventory , shops and levels. Will he succeed in leveling up to become the most powerful hunter?
