SK8 infinity The TV anime season 2 and episode OVA have been announced on the series’ official Twitter account. More information will be available on the official website later. You can watch the video of the announcement below:
Studio BONES returns to handle the production, along with the staff from season 1. This includes Hiroko Utsumias, the director, Ichirou Okuchias, the series composer, and Michinori Chibaas, the character designer. A new anime project for was previously announced, although the format was not specified. Aniplex licensed the show and they describe the story:
Recky, a high school sophomore and skateboarder, is addicted to “S,” a top-secret and dangerous skateboarding competition held in an abandoned mine. Skaters are especially wild about the “beefs” or heated fights that break out in competitions.
Reki takes Langa, a transfer student returning to Japan after studying abroad, to the mine where the competitions are held. Langa, who has no experience with skateboarding, finds himself drawn into the world of “S”…
