Show Me The Body frontman encourages fans who take a selfie off stage into a speaker stack
Show Me The Body frontman Julian Cashwan Pratt pushed fans off stage after filming himself with the band.
The New York hardcore group, who released the single “Loose Talk” last month, are currently touring North America with Soul Glo and WiFiGawd.
After a recent concert, a fan recorded a video of an audience member stalking the stage and recording a video while standing next to Pratt. The singer and banjo player responded by moving away from the microphone and pushing the man.
As a result, the fan fell over and laid over a large stack of speakers. Show Me The Foundation have shared the clip on their official Instagram, captioning it: ‘NO CONTEMPT’ – check it out below.
Show Me The Body is set to tour again in Seattle, Washington tonight (August 3), before making stops in cities including Vancouver, Portland, Baltimore and Las Vegas.
The band released their second studio album, ‘Dog Whistle’, in 2019. They followed it up with the three song EP ‘Survive’ in March 2021.
Speaking about this latest project, which was written and recorded throughout the COVID pandemic, SMTB explained, “The songs are about spiritual and physical isolation, as well as being prepared for the next time we meet.”
In a four-star review of ‘Dog Whistle’, NME said the group had found “clarity” on the record, adding: “[Es] a manifesto of everything that the early days of Show Me The Body promised.”
