The SHAMAN KING: FLOWERSanime sequel has revealed its first trailer, along with information on additional voice cast. The anime is set to premiere in January 2024 with animation from Bridge Studio. Watch the trailer:
Joji Furuta directed the anime and Shoji Yonemura contributed to the series composition. Mayuko Yamamoto is the character designer, Yuji Shibata is on prop design, and Toshiomi Iizumi and Satoshi Mutsuda are in charge of oversoul design. The new cast includes Ami Koshimizu as Luka Asakura, Kentaro Ito as Daikyo Oboro, Kenta Miyake as Ichihara Ryuji, and Chihiro Ueda as Namaha. The main cast for the anime includes:
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Amidamaru
- Yoko Hikasa as Hana Asakura
- Sumire Wesaka as Numbrich Alumi
- Shun Horie as Yohane Asakura
- Michiko Kaiden as Gako Ibuki
- Romy Paku as Men Tao
SHAMAN KING: FLOWERSthe anime is based on the separate manga written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei. It was serialized in Shueisha’sJump Xfrom April 2012 to October 2014, Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English, describing it as:
The action is back in this brand new sequel to SHAMAN KING! Hana Asakura discovers that being the son of Yoh and Anna Asakura isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, and his boredom makes him crave any kind of excitement.
