Sam Fender has announced a second date at Newcastle United’s St James’ Park next summer.
The singer and composer last week confirmed the details of his first home concert, in St. James, which will take place on June 9, 2023.
As pre-sale tickets for the June 9th date have been sold, Fender has added a second date this morning (September 7th) at St James’ which will take place the following day, June 10th.
The opening act for the first night (June 9) will be Inhaler and Holly Humberstone, with an opening act for June 10 to be announced “soon”.
Tickets for both concerts go on sale at 10am on Friday (September 9), and you can buy them here.

James Fender, who is a keen Newcastle United supporter, said: “I’ve always said if we ever got big enough to play in a stadium, this would have to be the first one. It would have to be in our home town .”
Fender, who are nominated for tomorrow’s 2022 Mercury Prize, have recently announced details of their ‘Live From Finsbury Park’ album.
Recorded at the artist’s concert in London’s Finsbury Park in July, the live album will include a special colored double vinyl set arriving on December 9.
