Robbie Williams will perform at the royal estate of Sandringham next summer.
The show will be the first large-scale live music event at the Royal Family’s Norfolk estate, which will take place on Saturday 26 August 2023. It will be Williams’ only outdoor concert in the United Kingdom next year.
Giles Cooper, promoter of event organizers Heritage Live, said: “It’s an ambition for all of us at Heritage Live to put on a concert for the legendary Robbie Williams and the thing about Robbie is that he just keeps getting better. .”
“His 2022 tour show was the best I’ve ever seen him and for me he’s the best artist since Elvis. We can’t wait. It’s going to be the most magical concert in the most amazing setting that will live on in our memories forever. never. !”
Tickets will go on sale at 9am this Friday (December 9), with pre-sale the day before. You can buy yours here.
Williams recently explained his plans for 2023 in an interview with an Italian radio station, revealing that they mostly have nothing to do with music.
“My long-term goals are many and varied,” he says, “I want to build a hotel. I want to start a chain of stores. I have some clothes that I will make. I have written a TV show. out. I’m very busy, but I’m very grateful that these things keep happening to me.”
He also said that he was a fan of Wet Leg and would be interested in collaborating with them: “I really want to work with them. I don’t know if they want to work with me.”
Williams is due to officiate at the Doha Golf Club in Qatar later this week, drawing criticism for the country’s poor record on human rights, a much-discussed issue surrounding the current World Cup.
“I do not condone any abuse of human rights anywhere,” he said in response to the controversy. “But, having said that, if we do not admit human rights abuses anywhere, it is the shortest journey the world has ever known: I could not even do it in my own kitchen.”
