The previously announced Re:ZERO: Life in Another World Season 3revealed a second visual teaser during MF Bunko J’s Summer School Festival event. The anime was announced at this year’s AnimeJapan with a teaser trailer.
Re:ZERO: Starting life in another worldthe anime is based on a series of light novels written by Tappei Nagatsuki. The novel began serialization on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in 2012. Media Factory has published them in print with illustrations by Shinichiro Otsuka since 2014 under its MF Bunko J label.
The first season of the anime aired in 2016, while the second began airing in 2020.Re: Zeroalso has two movies,Re:ZERO: Starting Life in Another World – Memory Snow(2018) andFrozen bonds(2019). It is also part ofIsekai Quartetfranchise.
Yen Press licensed the novels in English and described the plot as:
Subaru Natsuki was just trying to get to the convenience store, but found himself summoned to another world. He runs into the usual stuff – life-threatening situations, silver-haired beauties, cat fairies – you know, normal stuff. All of that would be bad enough, but he also gained the most awkward magical ability of all, time travel, but he has to die to use it. How do you repay someone who saved your life when all you can do is die?
