Chapter 6: Shine Unleashed
Yuna and her company are at Sonoko's house, celebrating late year parties, playing and having fun, until Sonoko appears with a bag from which she picks up a notebook: The Annals of Heroes. He wants to read it to everyone and they learn about the beginning of the work of the heroes, how and why it started, as well as the first wretches: Tamako Doi, Anzu Iyojima, Yuna Takashima, Chikage Kori, Wakaba Nogi. In 2015 the Vertex attack began, hope drops until they appear, who fought with the risk of death, just as it happened, adding to the ugliness of the people. Leaving the reading to him, Togo wonders about Yuna Takashima's coincidence.
Opinion of the Chapter
This chapter surprised me. It feels like a lot has been said, but not too much information, since they use things we already knew (at least the ones we've seen in previous seasons), answering some questions that we might have, for example: who were the first heroines? How were they organized after the attack? How did the heroines evolve? Things like that. Also, it's very nice to see Yuna and company, not because the ones that appear this season are bad characters, but they are not developed to a level. But Six, here's what we learn most about the first heroes, being brutal, because they did not save anything and showed misfortune, because that's how they end and that's how which they must suffer in order to perpetuate a world of evil grace. Good chapter, well developed, good fights and animation.
The beginning of the heroes
We are not going to focus on Yuna and company, as they were used as an introduction to what we saw, although they are related, but nothing concrete yet. On the other hand, I was interested in how the dynamics of the chapter expands, since it was a disadvantage, from the present day, a short period from 2015 to 2018, to show us the dead heroes, Yuna's ancient despair. “victory”, jumping the moment they meet Yuna, fight with Nogi. I loved that sequencing.
On the other hand, everyone has a defined personality, Yuna is still Yuna, Nogi is the series or mature, Chikage is the one who wants to be tough because of her own fears and Anzu are animated friends and Doi, though only the shy one. They begin the journey, sacrificing themselves for the greater good, not for the sake of their glory, but they would not be heroes, and they are very clear in Yuna's dialogue with Nogi, but at that moment they did not they have no idea about the size of the enemy.
The first heroines will also trigger the first work troubles, with little reward for that sacrifice. Only a few months after the first battle, Anzu and Doi lie dead, which is why Yuna goes out of control while activating Shuten-douji, which looks a mankai ancient, in order to overthrow Vertex, although this caused serious injuries. Nogi tries to keep a cool head and Chikage can't, she no longer understands, and to top it off she finds out through the networks what they say about them, increasing her anger and abuse, giving her, perhaps, do something against humanity. At the end of the day, there are 4 casualties, two dead, one psychologically affected and the other physically, making Nogi the best stop, though the instability begins to fragment. Is it really worth it?
Some doubts will be shown, such as the relationship between the Yuna, later, I have no doubt. A very enjoyable chapter if you understand the context. Wait for the next chapter and possibly continue with the previous story.
