A press release revealed that the light novels are written by Yomi Hirasaka and illustrated by township, Henjin no Salad Bowl (Eccentrics Salad Bowl), adapted into a television anime series. The statement did not reveal further details about the production, including the animation studio and release date.
Hirasaka began publishing the novel in October 2021 through the publishing label Gagaga Bunkofrom the publisher shogakukan. Manga adaptation with illustrations by Yamada spent began to be published in the magazine Sunday Weber in September 2022, with two compiled volumes currently available.
This is not the first collaboration between Hirasaka and Kantoku, as they have previously helmed a literary franchise. Imouto sae Ireba II (Sister all you need).
