Ranking of kings is getting a new anime project titled Ranking of Kings: Curragh’s Treasure Cheste, as announced by the official Twitter account for the franchise. WIT Studio is in charge of production, and the new anime is set to premiere in 2023. The TV special will tell an untold story of courage featuring Bojji, Kage and their friends. A website is open and you can check out the visual teaser:
The team from the TV anime returns with Yousuke Hatta as director, Taku Kishimoto in charge of script supervision, Atsuko Nozaki as chief animation director and character designer, and MAYUKO composing the music. Featured voice includes:

Ranking of kings, or Ousama Ranking, is originally a Japanese web manga series by Sousuke Touka. It was first serialized online through user-submitted Manga Hack website Echoes in May 2017, and is still ongoing. Enterbrain publishes the printed tankobon volumes. How prosperous your nation is, how powerful warriors it boasts, and how heroic and powerful its king is. These are the criteria that go into the system known as ranking the kings. The main character, Boji, is born as the first prince of the kingdom ruled by King Bossu, who is ranked number seven. But Boji was born unable to hear and is so powerless that he can’t even swing a sword. As a result, he is looked down upon by his own servants and society as completely unfit to be king. Then Boji finds his first Kage friend and Boji’s life takes a dramatic turn…
