Netflix has announced the release of Jackass 4.5, a new movie with previously unreleased content from Jackass Forever, on May 20th.
Like the previous Jackass 2.5 and 3.5 movie extensions, Jackass 4.5 will feature behind-the-scenes footage, outputs, cast interviews and unprecedented tricks.
A clip released by Netflix shows a previously unreleased stunt called the Swingset Gauntlet, in which members thrown in inflatable animal costumes attempt to cross a conveyor belt into swings at playgrounds.
“Get ready for more tricks and goofiness with Jackass 4.5, a new feature film with the whole team,” reads a summary.
Like Jackass Forever, the film will star Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Wee Man, Dave England, Danger Ehren, and Preston Lacy.
Knoxville has previously said he is retiring from big tricks after Jackass Forever, a decision that was influenced by his doctor’s medical advice.
Speaking to NME, Knoxville said: “I knew when I went into this movie that it was the last time I did big tricks because I have kids and I was hurt a lot. I feel like I can resign. this movie is ok as it is the last movie with big tricks. I have nothing to prove in that area. “
Asked if he would be able to stay away from doing tricks, Knoxville said: “[El cocreador de Jackass] Jeff Tremaine is sure I can’t. I hope I can, but I do not know. “
In a four-star NME review, Jackass Forever is described as “90 minutes of great joy” with scenes “that could really make you feel emotional”.
Jackass 4.5 will be shown on Netflix on May 20th.
