ThePokémonPresents live stream has revealed that a new original web anime from WIT Studio is calling Pokémon: Paldean Winds will begin streaming on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on September 6th. It will last for 4 episodes and will be set in the Pandea region. Check out the trailer:
Ryouhei Takeshita is the director of WIT Studio, with Takashi Kojima as the character designer. Yuki Funagakure is the art director and Kevin Penkin is in charge of the music. The main voice cast includes Shion Wakayama, Minako Kotobuki, and Marin Mizutani. The synopsis is described:
“My own treasure”? What is this?”
The story takes place in the Pandea region, where humans and Pokémon live together in a rich natural environment.
“I’d like you to make a video for new and transfer students telling them how wonderful the academy is.”
One day three students were approached by the headmaster of the academy, Clavel.
O’Hara is a shy girl who plays the flute well but wants to escape the pressure of the concert.
The stubborn Alikis who loves Pokemon battles and is determined to defeat Nemo.
Hot-tempered Homa, who is so obsessed with learning a special story that he ends up getting into trouble with everyone else.
They are so self-absorbed that they are somewhat at odds with each other.
But as they encounter and grow with Pokémon, the three gradually come together.
